About Us
Mahonia Gardens is a one-acre market garden in Sisters, Oregon, cultivating top-quality vegetables, herbs, and flowers since 2013. While not certified organic, we are committed to chemical-free farming practices.
Entering our 13th season in 2025, we grow over 40 vegetable crops and share our produce through our farm stand, Central Oregon Locavore, Agricultural Connections, and local groceries and restaurants (learn more here). Founded by Carys Wilkins and Benji Nagel, our passion for plants, bugs, soil, and family drives everything we do.
Open from May - October, The Stand, 254 E. Adams Ave in downtown Sisters, is a curated showcase of the best our local farmers and producers have to offer, featuring seasonal products primarily from our farm alongside handpicked items from trusted local growers.
In addition to our fresh produce, we offer pasture-raised eggs and meats, seasonal organic berries, flour, honey, flowers, and more—all sourced from farmers committed to organic and sustainable practices. We take pride in personally knowing these producers, building relationships that ensure the highest quality and transparency.
