Bend Urban Gardens is the Central Oregon gardener's best friend. Ashley Joyce and team offer help planning, constructing, and starting your garden, offering everything from lessons to crop plans to the raised beds and plant starts themselves.

We help turn the front, back, and side yards of Central Oregonians into edible garden spaces, empowering aspiring gardeners to grow fresh, flavorful, and nutritious food.

Bend Urban Gardens combines Ashley’s contagious enthusiasm for growing vegetables as well as her strong teaching skills and strategies to provide helpful and engaging edible garden inspiration and mentorship. When she isn’t gardening, she can be found walking, running or paddle boarding with BUG’s mini Goldendoodle spokes dog, Toby.

We start short season varieties from seed in our solar greenhouse and harden them off in our midtown Bend demonstration garden. We only use organic soil mixes and amendments.
